Review: Jigsaw Health's Gluten-Free, Casein-Free, No Sugar, Chocolate, Coconut-Almond Jigsaw Bars

Posted on 17:00 by Unknown
From MAN FERTILITY, bar tester extraordinaire:

I've become a bit cynical about the exploding number of food bars at my local health food store. Sure, they're convenient. But all too often the "energy bars" are glorified candy bars, while the "protein bars" get most of their protein from soy, which, as readers of GREENFERTILITY no doubt already know, is a questionable food source.

That's why I was so pleased to discover Jigsaw Health's
Jigsaw Bars. These bars derive their protein from rice and whey instead of soy. For those concerned about auto-immune issues, these bars are gluten and casein free, and also contain 4 grams of omega 3 fish oils. Best of all, they are unbelievably delicious (especially the coconut almond Jigsaw bars, which are my favorites).

I still believe a sit-down meal of local, organic food is best for you and best for the planet. But for those times when you're traveling or otherwise in a rush, these bars come a close second.
